The Beverly Hillbillies aired on CBS for 10 years, from 1962, to 1971. The show was number one in the ratings for the first two seasons, and 16 episodes were the most watched shows in American TV history. The series was nominated for an Emmy 12 times, with 3 wins. Irene Ryan portrayed Granny, the feisty, gun toting, hot tempered mother in law of Jed Clampett in 274 episodes. This film is a compilation of some of her best work. And, of course, you will also see Buddy Ebsen as Uncle Jed, Max Baer as Jethro, Donna Douglas as Elly May, and all of your other favorite characters.
